Very cute spot to stop at after a beach day. Note that Google and Happy cow say it's only open until 4pm but the Menü says 10 pm.

This cafe made our trip to Puerto Escondido - Edit
As we visited Puerto Escondido off season, there weren‘t many vegan spots but this cafe made it all up! They have it all: amazing smoothie bowls, lunch, dinner dishes, coffee, juices, cool surfing vibes, nice staff & a cute cat thet visits daily. We went there 4 times and everything we tried was great! A must visit!

Read moreGot lucky when I stumbled across this place and only really chose it because the pictures I saw had beans. The menu has some good options, and a few made gluten free, or can be GF optional. Everything on the menu is Vegan. It’s close by to some nice beaches, and also does surf rentals and lessons! Lots of room for parking as well if you are driving.
The food was awesome, very healthy, and good value in my opinion. I paid $200 for the Breakfast bowl, subbed extra beans for the bread to make it gluten free. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from, I got the Ocean smoothie, with added creatine and protein powder. Delicious, and blue. 🏄♂️
The staff is friendly and fast at preparing the meals, and we also got to chat with the owner of the restaurant Chris for quite some time. Learning that the restaurant was opened because he had a hard time finding vegan options in Puerto Escondido! It gave us more personality to this little spot with nice shaded seating and chill vibes.
We also got to meet the neighborhood cat that frequents the restaurant as well named “Assassin” very cute lil guy.
The store is also right next to a small store, so you can come grab a nice meal and a few things for your travels at the same time!
Great place to eat. Highly recommend, come here, and enjoy. Great place to hangout with a group of travellers, or as a solo.

I went twice to Sweet Spot and probably would’ve gone more often, if staying longer. Their menu is appealing and offers a good mix of hearty and sweet options plus lots of special hot beverages and smoothies. Everything I ate was great, only the homemade snickers wasn’t to my liking consisting predominantly of dates, being overly sweet for me. The terrace beneath the lush trees is very cozy.

We came to sweet spot probably four or five times. The food was great especially the tofu a la Mexicana and the sandwiches.
Read moreWe ran into a few small issues, they seem to frequently run out of key items, the food also takes a long time and on one occasion they gave us a sandwich where the tempeh had gone bad.
Despite this we still came back and enjoyed it and on balance it’s a good option.

I had a breakfast bowl which was really good, and an smoothie which wasn’t my favorite, it was really watery and pricey for the size. The food is ok but this wouldn’t be my first option.
