Vegan cafe near Palais de Justice, since 2017. Serves coffee, tea, beer, wine, and a daily selection of cakes and baked treats plus veganised Belgian dishes like boulets sauce liégeoise, house-made burgers, salads and savory options. Offers weekend brunch until 3PM. The regular menu is available from opening until the kitchen closes. Accepts cake orders. Open Thu-Fri 17:30-22:30, Sat 11:00-22:30, Sun 11:00-21:30. Closed Mon-Wed. Kitchen closes 45 minutes before closing time (10:15pm). Brunch is served until 3:00pm on weekends.

Nette Location

Nette urige Lacation mit Außenterasse. Super freundliche Bedienung. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist ausreichend. Die Portion sind völlig ausreichend, selbst für meinen Freund, der eigentlich kein Ende findet. Leider haben wir es deshalb nicht geschafft eine der lecker aussehenden Torten zu essen😕

Pros: Da ich kein Soja vertrage, fand ich es super, dass, es Alternativen gibt!

Cons: Nicht so ganz günstig, aber von teuer genug , entfernt.

Disappointing

Tasteless, boring dishes. It's like if a first year vegan made a restaurant.. lasagna even tasted store bought.

The place itself is great, nice space, nice staff..

Different tastes

I had some vegan meatballs with a typical sauce from the south region of Belgium (Liege). Interesting flavours that I didnt expect. Liked it! Best was that its local. The place is also very nice and service was good.

Great all you can eat

This place is one of the only vegans places in Brussels, and I really enjoyed eating there. When I was there was a buffet all you can eat, they were continously replacing food when it was over, many healthy options, and very tasty ones. One of the best "cheese" I've ever tried. Always a great experience!

The Judgy Vegan is my fav vegan place in Brussels. The food is very tasty and it is so obvious it is made with love! The staff is always extra nice. And their Margherita pizza and applesauce donuts are among the best vegan foods I have ever eaten. 5/5 without any doubt!

Excellent and Creative Food/ Only Second to the Excellent Service

My partner and I recently met an old colleague and his family at TJV.
...and was I honored to experience the amazing and tasty food. The cheese platter
was a plethora of fine delicacies and the burgers where absolutely mouth-watering.
The server, Mary in fact, was incredibly friendly and refreshingly open.
I can highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting a well rounded adventure.

Parfait!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment pour un long brunch en famille ce dimanche.
Le plateau de fromages et charcuteries vegan est délicieux et vraiment copieux!
Complété par un déssert (la Forêt Noire est un régal!), nous étions rassasiés tous les 4.
En plus, un cadre agréable, de la bonne musique et un accueil souriant!
Je recommande vivement!

Comfort food et sympa

Des plats qu'on ne trouve pas facilement vegan (boulets liégeoises, croquettes au fauxmage etc), quand il y a un peu de monde, c'est plus lent que prévu mais on s'y sent bien que ce n'est pas grave. En plus, les vendeurs sont tous sympas.

Pros: La nourriture est gourmande et originale.

Good brunch and Liege meatballs

We came here today to have a vegan brunch and we had a lovely time. Very nice staff and very good food. Brunch was made of comfy food and the meatballs were delicious! Don’t hesitate to come.

Amazing typical belgium meatballs

We had the meatballs and cheese sticks, they werw both amazing! Best seitan we ever had!
The restaurant has an altermative edge to it, its a little expensive but it is brussels...

Big space , small taste

Space is huge. Garden furniture is a bit uninviting. Staff was very friendly. Burger was OK. Had better.

Nicely decorated cozy place

Tried the crêpe and fauxmage croquette here which were really delicious. Friendly staff, spacious and pleasant. Nice place to chill out in the interesting Marolles neighbourhood

Nice people, terrible food

I'm so sorry that food here was so disappointing. It had a nice vibe and the staff were very helpful but I've never had to leave food before. Maybe the other things are nicer but if you do go don't bother with the mushroom burger, it made me feel sick two bites in.

leuke plek

fijne plek in een leuke buurt, het eten is heel ok en betaalbaar. Maar - en het is een belangrijke maar in een Belgisch restaurant - de frietjes kunnen beter. Ik ga zeker terug om ze nog eens te proeven. De desserts zagen er ook lekker uit, die wil ik ook nog testen.

OK

Vegan food is limited in Brussels so it's nice to go somewhere that you know is safe. It's nice but quite basic food and expensive for what you get. Also service is painfully slow.

Disappointing burger for €13.50

We had the mushroom 'forestier' burger and I've had much better vegan burgers for half the price. Cheap buns, soggy chips, bland & oily burger ingredients. Felt pretty ripped off.

Food is fine, atmosphere is great

This is a really nice relaxed place to have a casual lunch and catch up with friends. They have lots of board games to play with and also sell vegan chocolate, toiletries and began products to go. The food is not particularly special, but often feels like something home cooked. I do like the nachos a lot.

Long waiting time, pretty bland food

I like the idea of the judgy vegan, and their inclusive atmosphere. The ideas for the food are good but it could be prepared better. The nachos where nice and tasty, but the pancakes where pretty squishy, the omelet very dry (I think only made with chickpea flour and not much else, could use some moisture) and topped with very little vegetables. Everything we ordered (burgers, rice with cream sauce with sweet potato, the omelette, the savoury pancake) was served with very little vegetables. Everything could also have been seasoned more. We also had to wait very long to get our drinks and our food. The staff is nice and again I like the idea, but they could work on their cooking.

Cons: Bland, Long wait, Not a lot of veggies

Nice place

With friendly service. I tried 3 vegan restaurants before this and they were all closed and I had a train to catch and was tried and hungry after seeing the sights all day. This place saved me from having to travel back to Netherlands hungry. Had some fries with seitan balls and gravy. The gravy was a bit too sweet to my taste, but delicious anyway. Would’ve been nice to have some vegetables with the meal.

Lekkere hamburgers!!

Gezellig restaurant met zetels en gezelschapsspelletjes. Enkel nog maar 's avonds geweest, maar hebben super lekkere vegan burgers, vooral deze met "kaas" (fauxmage)! Ook hun frietjes zijn jummie!

Pros: Alles is Vegan!! 😊

Lekkere hotdog en uiensoep met soort samosa. Hartelijke ontvangst ruime keuze. Wij komen terug.
