Vegan comfort food and delicious desserts - Edit
Nice vegan versions of mostly traditional dishes. Several desserts to choose from.
Read moreWe had the seitan burger which tasted wonderful, and the houmous bowl with tofu, a nice healthy option.
We ended with a chocolate cupcake and a chocolate mousse topped with chantilly cream. Both were nice!

Tasty classics and local dishes - Edit
It's a nice and welcoming place, and went from being quite empty when we arrived (just after 18.00) to being about a third full.
Read moreWe found it pretty hard to choose but decided to share cheese croquettes (lovely gooey comfort food), a chef's salad (very nice), the boulets sauce Liégeoise (promoted as a Belgian specialty) and the seitan Bourguignon.
We appreciated being warned that the sauce Liégeoise is a bit sweet.
We enjoyed everything but I'm giving four stars because both the seitans could be better, I think, and the fries should have been cooked a little longer.

Lovely food in a lovely space - Edit
We only stopped here for a quick bite before our train but the fries and arancini were very tasty, the service was friendly, and they also have a little shop of different vegan goodies which was fun. Will definitely return when back in Brussels. Would recommend.

Good chocolate bars - Edit
Nice place and friendly staff. I had the Lasagna and a freshly squeezed orange juice. While the juice was good, I was not a fan of the Lasagna, it tasted too much like tomato. However it was quite a big portion so at least I didn't leave hungry. The waiter also asked if I liked it and reacted well when I said that I didn't.

Generous wholesome food - Edit
The staff were really friendly. There is an easy online menu available in a number of languages. Very generous portions and so much choice!! It was lovely to find a completely vegan restaurant too.
Read moreThe soup was thick and filling and the parmentier was big enough for two, especially as we’d had arrancini balls to share as a starter. We couldn’t resist the puddings but had to get them wrapped to take away! The lavender lemonade, homemade, had an after taste of the lavender and was refreshing. I wish we were staying longer and could come back for the brunch pancakes…. Highly recommended!
Pros: Huge choice, Generous portions, Friendly staff

A Must for Brussels. - Edit
Outstanding, laid-back seitan-heavy vegan restaurant. Burginoin and boulets were both divine, staff were cordial, and plenty of vegan sweets and pantry staples to nosh on later too.

Everything was perfect : the veggie cheese croquette, the Burger with seitan and tofu bacon, and the dessert. One problem: too much choices, it's difficult to.only pick one dessert !

Such a pity that the food is not as soon as the cakes. I ate there several times and I am a bit disappointed every time (either not that tasty or dry or not good)

Very good - Edit
Friendly service and very good food. I took the vegan Schnitzel with fries, salad and mushroom sauce. It's a cosy restaurant in Brussels City Center next to a few other vegan restaurants near Louise/Louiza. Additionally you find a few products to buy like in a little vegan supermarket. Prices in Brussels Level, so a bit more to Pay than in other cities/countries.

Very good - Edit
All vegan restaurant with some hearty food choices and a little shop inside.
Read moreThe staff was very nice and friendly and the food was great.
We tried the boulets sauce liègeoise, something I haven't even heard of before coming here, and it tasted amazing although I wasn't prepared for the intense clove flavour. I enjoyed it a lot though! The 'meatballs' had a nice texture and were very filling.
Cupcakes were alright but nothing special, might go for the cheesecake next time cause it looked really good.
The food is a bit pricey but everything in Brussels is so it seems alright.

Huge schnitzel - Edit
The seitan schnitzel was 21 euros and was absolutely enormous - the size of a dinner plate, came with mushroom sauce, chips and salad. Luckily I had some friends to share it with. Great place to try this dish. Service was friendly and prompt.

Creative menu - Edit
We had the lobster roll and schnitzel, both were really yummy!
Read moreI have never had a non vegan lobster roll so not sure how it compares, but I really loved the creativity. I think the lobster was made from heart of palm or similar because it was a little crunchy but taste really good and the bread was delicious.
The schnitzel was definitely a good option too but would have loved it to be a little thicker and with more sauce, but the taste was great.
The whole menu looked really good and I would have loved to have tried more if we were hungrier
There had been a little bit of a wait for our food which i think was abnormal because even though we didn't say anything about it, the staff were very apologetic and gave us a free cupcake, which was soft and not sickly sweet
We would definitely eat here again

Disappointing Dining Experience - Edit
It seemed like the food wasn't freshly made or homemade. I'm not familiar with Brussels prices, but it felt overpriced because it wasn't special food—more like school cafeteria fare. Additionally, the overall atmosphere was strange.

Hello Leander,
Read moreThank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
Could you share with me what dishes you ate and when you visited ?
We make our 4 different kinds of seitan (seitan burger, boulets, sausage and schnitzel), sauces (liégeoise, all the mayo sauces, bolognaise) and even or burger and lobster buns from scratch, using mostly organic ingredients when it comes to fruits and vegetables.
Brussels can be an expensive city, especially when it comes to rent and produce, and Belgium in general costs more in wages and social security than our neighbouring countries.
We do not cost more then most non vegan places in Brussels.
Thank you again for your feedback.
