Great food and great service - Edit
Amazing menu. I wish I could have been able to try more things because everything looked great. The scramble tofu was seasoned perfectly and the pancakes were super light and fluffy.

Gtrat experience - Edit
I had an amazing experience at The Modern Vegan! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left me more than satisfied. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed. A special shoutout to our waitress, Nicole, who was truly outstanding. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, this is one of those places where you feel taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Great food!!! - Edit
I went twice over Labor Day weekend with 2 different people. One was a meat lover who thought his Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was terrific. I ordered the Spicy Ch’kn sandwich one day and the Bacon Ch’kn ranch on spinach wrap the next. Just crazy how good their food is! Very modest outside and very nice inside!!! I highly recommend it.

Worst experience in Vegas - Edit
I really don’t understand how the place has these reviews. The greeter was not friendly, no smiles.
Read moreTook a server over 5 minutes to come to our table and it was dead. I don’t eat soy and asked the server what may be a good option. She said, “impossible and beyond burgers are both soy free.” While I know beyond is, impossible has always been made of soy. The waitress said the owner told her impossible was soy free now. Well that’s wrong and only a simple google search away. If you’re making vegan food, know your facts.
My husband got the truffle Mac that was edible but had no truffle flavor so $27 for what noodles and cheese sauce? Cool.
What came out for me was the saddest most overcooked burger I’ve ever seen. I asked for just greens and bbq sauce. It came out with 2 handfuls of spinach stuffed into the bun. Greens were not even dressed…. No salt, pepper, oil, nothing, a tomato, some pesto I never asked for that was dried up bc the patty sucked up all the moisture.
I really wanted to love this place but it was without a doubt the worst vegan meal I’ve ever had (in 8 yrs) and would not consider coming back.
When the waitress saw my pile of greens after she gathered plates, you could hear her complaining at the kitchen asking why there was so much greens on the plate.
She did that yet never apologized to us or offer to take it off the tab seeing I clearly didn’t eat it.
Food: a 1 but they won’t let me give it 1 star.
Waitstaff: also a 1.
Go elsewhere. Don’t waste your $80 here.

A Great Vegan Spot - Edit
We had the cauliflower wings with barbecue sauce, steak stroganoff fettuccine, and the mac and cheese with white truffle oil. Everything was full of flavor and the portions were just right.

Greasy comfort food - Edit
We got the jalapeno poppers, the game changer meal, and a root beer float. The jalapeno poppers were pretty good. The game changer was good, but super greasy and heavy. The root beer float was missing from our order, and the phone number in our email receipt isn't the correct phone number for the restaurant so we aren't sure how to have that resolved. Overall the food was pretty good, but was very expensive for 3 jalapeno poppers and a burger with a missing drink. I'd recommend going in for your order to avoid not getting your full order/a refund/replacement item. Overall I'll try it again in person their breakfast items look tasty.

As a glutton, believe me when I saw the portions were massive. Very good eats and an atmosphere inside the place. 100%worth the side quest for food off strip. Would for sure go back.

Sinful, large potions - Edit
Heavy on deep-fried, sugary comfort food—definitely more indulgent than health-conscious. Reminiscent of @veganhackspod: vegan, but not exactly WFPB. Flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me, and portions were HUGE.

Disappointed - Edit
We revisited The Modern Vegan hoping for a better experience after a long hiatus. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The tap water was unpleasant, basic table items had to be requested, and service felt disorganized. A broken chair was simply moved from table to table instead of being removed, and although we arrived with other guests, they were served and finished their meals well before ours arrived. When our food finally came, it was lukewarm and lacked freshness. Regretfully, we don’t plan to return.

We enjoyed our food very much. I got the game changer which was probably the least healthy (but pretty tasty) thing I have ever eaten. The Oreo shake was an also great.

Awesome Food - Edit
Can't tell you how much we enjoyed this place. We took the family here after they landed at Harry Reid. Convenient to get to from the airport and the strip. We're excited to try their new menu items. One thing: the music was a little too loud.

Food powerhouse in a stiripmall - Edit
The server recommended the chick'n & waffles and it was the best meal I had on my Vegas trip. Also had a very good iced coffee to beat the heat. Large menu, everything's vegan, cool ambience. Doesn't look impressive from outside but I'd eat there again anytime. Lots of promising-looking burger options.

Read moreBrought the whole family here as soon as our flight landed. We went a little overboard and ordered enough food for 2x as many people. Well worth it, and looking forward to trying them again when we get home to Michigan, as they just opened a location in Royal Oak.
Pros: The Crab Benedict , The pancakes , The server’s other vegan Vegas recommendations.
Cons: The price $$$, Using lightlife bacon…not as great as the rest, The Mexicana tacos were bland

Simply one of the best… - Edit
One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to, probably ever. I remember visiting this one once before when I was in the area. This second visit did not disappoint. I tried the Sunday Funday off the breakfast menu which came with pancakes, tofu scramble, potatoes and sausage. Everything about this meal was perfect right down to the potatoes which were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The portions were quite large as well. It is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Amazing Diner Style Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Loved this place, we got the nachos, Brisket Mac n Cheese and the Green Curry. All were super tasty. Large portions, the Mac n Cheese could easily serve two people (especially after the nachos as an app). Our server, Nicole, was super fun and helpful in explaining the menu. I would 100% come here all the time if I lived in Vegas. Will def visit again when I go back! FYI - the photo of the nachos were already half eaten 😇🤦😋
