Enjoyable Lunch - Edit
Separate vegan menu with 3/4 options for each course. My friend who is not vegan opted for the vegan menu and thoroughly enjoyed. Both had the veg tempura to start. My curry was tasty and banana split was yum. Friend's Moroccan stew portion was huge and she could not finish. She would have liked it to be a little spicier but noted that was a minor issue, it was tasty all the same. Small comfortable bistro with nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Delicious, fun and friendly. - Edit
Offers vegan versions of traditional Scottish foods. I had Scotch broth and vegan haggis. Both delicious. Price for both plus a cuppa was about $23 US

You - Edit
Have been here a couple of times. Lovely venue and very friendly, helpful, patient serving staff. Tasty food and a range of vegan options. On my last visit I had a dish that was garnished with Parmesan that I was assured was vegan. 3 of us tasted it and agreed that it tasted like dairy Parmesan. I asked what brand it was and if I could see packaging to check ingredients but was told that the packaging had been discarded. They suggested it was Violife. I was unconvinced and did not eat it. I have subsequently bought the Violife Parmesan and its flavour and texture was nothing like what was served to me. I suspect that the restaurant did not have any vegan Parmesan in and thought that they would just serve up dairy Parmesan. This alone has made me decide not to go again. It’s a trust and ethical issue.
