Finally there, I go often to Bilbao, but unluckily i always found Tirauki closed, due to holidays, days off, etc. And had a hard time in the city due to the lack of vegan options. But finally i found it open, and omg it was even better than i dreamt off. The bar is full of pintxos, all vegan, there were more than 30 options. I felt i was in paradise. One of the most interesting pintxos bar in the beautiful Casco Viejo of Bilbao. It's a must!!! They have a lot of options, the waiters are very friendly and the beer is also good. But they have to reformulate their tortilla de patata. It used to be one of the best tortillas in Bilbao, but now it's a bit dry...

This isn't a review, I didn't get to try this place because it was always closed even in their supposed "opening hours". I came around this place for over 5 time during the course of two weeks and it was always closed. Maybe it is due to the covid crisis, but be warned.

I have filled a status request to change this bar from vegetarian to vegan, as it has been so for 3 years.
Read moreThey have the kitchen closed due to coronavirus but normally they offer 24 vegan pintxos, which makes this bar one of the best in Bilbao.
You can still stop here for a coffee or a drink as they even offer vegan Bailey's.

Primer bar vegano que conocemos y nos encantó. Tienen más de 12 tipos de pinchos y tapas, varios tipos de tragos, cervezas y es muy concurrido. Fuimos con amigos no veganos y les sorprendió el ambiente y los sabores. Pasar temprano por que se acaba literalmente todo.

This bar was soooo fun. It was right in the center of things, so fun, and everyone was there . The tapas were INCREDIBLE I loved the one that was like potatoes and looks like a pie I forget what it is called lol. Truly awesome place and must go to while in Bilbao !

Very nice people and cozy bar, in the centre of Bilbao. Great ambient, dog friendly and tasty pintxos, all vegan. Quite cheap as well. Recommended!

Very friendly barkeeper, free beertasting to choose the best draft beer. Only one wine is vegan. Nice atmosphere, good music! The barkeeper told us, that all pinchos are vegan.

Read moreFor those, saying it is closed, it isn't. This is Spain, most places shut late afternoon and reopen about 19:00 or later. Don't think they have strict opening hours but I've been there in the evening and in the day.

My favourite place - Edit
This bar is a dream - it's so cheap and the food is so good. Particularly keen on the perritos, the burgers and the spring rolls. The staff are amazing, there's always a good buzz here, and it's all vegan so you can just get whatever looks good. Don't go to Bilbao without spending at least one evening here

Real basque atmosphere and all food is vegan!! The pintxos are very tasty. I love the tortilla with vegan black pudding. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great value. You can't be in Bilbao without visiting this bar. I highly recommend it.
