cheesy and cheerful

Always a lovely experience. The staff here are super friendly. A little out of my way for a quick lunch and they’re often busy so with one person on the jaffle iron, you could wait up to 20 minutes for your toasty - I have. But I’ve always found it worth the walk and the wait. The “chicken” options are jackfruit which is a win for me but maybe not for everyone. The baked potato and cheese hits the spot on a cold day while the bbq jackfruit with pineapple is always a favourite of mine. Tried the homemade baked beans and cheese one morning and it was a the perfect breakfast. They had a “chicken tikka masala” special for a while which was delicious - masala jackfruit, cheese, and coconut raita, from memory. I love the chocolate peanut butter sandwich cookie too - tastes like a bigger, better, vegan Kingston. Only thing I haven’t really enjoyed is their coffee - a bit mild and sweet for me.

Quality Jaffels

If you're in the Melbourne CBD an absolute must, for breakfast, brunch and lunch! The beyond jaffel is life-changing!

Pros: Awesome options, everything is an absolute winner!

Cons: Slightly long wait time as it is very small. , But worth it!

Tiny quick bite

Love this little place. Toasty jaffles and coffee to go, with a friendly smile and easy atmosphere. Prices are good and a table for 4 to relax and watch Melbourne hurry by.

Very filling and great options!

There was a little wait but the kitchen is tiny! Worth the wait as the jaffles were fresh and huge!

Didn't like the jaffle but the cake was lovely

I took the chicken pineapple baffle out of curiosity but didn't like it at all 😂😂 but the cake was super nice, the one with pieces of coconut on it. Points for being all vegan!

Super yummy toasties

We went there twice on our trip to Melbourne. The food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return if we had time left. Highly recommend.

Good jaffles and coffee

This is a tiny hole in the wall serving jaffles and some other sweet treats and hot drinks. Coffee is good. The jaffles have interesting flavours but some are a bit nicer than others so depends what you are into. There isn’t much variety or much seating but it’s really nice to have a place for all vegan hot foods and drinks.

Lovely

Charming little laneway kiosk. A note to others; not a cafe even though they have a tiny bit of outdoor seating. As the name would suggest this is a kiosk: It’s made for takeaway.

Pros: Lovely coffee, Better staff

Cons: Best for takeaway.

Great overall

The staff were so lovely and it was great being able to choose anything from the menu. The hot chocolate wasn’t as chocolatey as I usually like, but it was made really well. Will definitely go here again

Awesome Little Lunch Spot

This little hole in the wall cafe is hard to find but is a hidden gem of Melbourne’s laneways.
These guys have incredible jaffles with some great and delicious flavour combinations.
Their mushroom, basil, spinach and mozzarella is to die for, as is their avocado, vegemite and cheese. The little sprinkle of salt added to the top of each jaffle is the cherry on top of what are awesome jaffles.
Their seating is limited, but that is to be expected with their tiny store. Resultantly, when busy, the wait for jaffles can be a little while, as they can only make so many jaffles at the one time. Definitely worth the wait no matter what though!!!

Pros: Totally vegan, Plastic-free, Delicious

Cons: Limited drink options , Limited seating

Cute place with indulging food

One of the few things I miss as a vegan is cheesy toasties and this place does them perfectly. My cravings were satisfied for less than 10$!

Pros: Completely vegan!!, So many options, Very cute and atmospheric spot

Good at what they do

I had a coconut latte and a jaffle to go. The staff were friendly and helpful in making sure I could get something without onion and with protein for breakfast, and the food was generous and tasty.

Best toasties and they are VEGAN

My favorite lunch spot in the city.
Super friendly staff.
Yummy inspiring vegan toasty combos all served out of a cupboard in a laneway.
Highly recommend 😊

Pros: All vegan menu with new specials on a regular basi

Cons: Can be busy in peak times but worth the wait

Seriously good toasties

One of my favourite places in the city. Has delicious toasties with so many options. Great coffee. Lots of vegan cakes. The staff are always lovely.

Vegan Hidden Gem in Melbourne City

Straight off the bat the Soy Coffee is Amazing!!!
Ordered mushroom basil spinach and the Mexi black bean salsa guacamole Jaffles !!!

Ok update: ordered a second coffee plus a veg bolognese garlic butter and mozzarella Jaffa!

This place is really decent

Pros: Amazing soy coffee!!!, Great prices , So good I ate extra one!!

Cons: Not enough seating though still lovely nook!

Coffee

Coffee was hands down the worst tasting substance whom has ever entered my gob. Tasted like old lawn clippings overall nice location bad coffee good city bad shop.
