Great vegan spot in Budapest - Edit
Great menu with Hungarian versions of dishes which is exactly what I was looking for as I like to try the local food however it can be difficult being vegan. Really flavourful and tasty unique dishes id not tried before, lovely recommended wine followed by a sumptuously indulgent yet delicious Hungarian dessert. Utterly perfect experience with lovely service for my final evening in Budapest - definitely recommend coming here as a vegan!

Really disappointed! We had 2 appetizers 2 main courses and everything just tasted the same. And not in a good way. I’m pretty shocked it has all these great reviews, honestly. Definitely not recommended, unfortunately.

My ‘must visit’ from Budapest - Edit
Obviously a full vegan menu is always a huge highlight when visiting uncharted territory. When that is coupled with outstanding food for a really reasonable price it really earns its 5 stars. To drink we had the Budapest cherry beer which was delightful, a great blend of sour and sweet, well worth a try I’d say. To eat I had the calzone, which was huge & absolutely packed full of flavour, the smoked tofu, garlic & sun-dried tomato’s complement each other exceptionally in my opinion, my wife had the mushroom & truffle pasta & really enjoyed it, she commented that the pasta tasted very fresh & had great texture. I had a peice of the traditional greeny yellow Hungarian coconut & filo dessert, not my cup of tea really but more than edible. If we get chance before we leave we’ll be back again.

The place is easy to find and has a lovely interior. We had the stewed cauliflower, the paprikash and a Hungarian cream cake. The first was lovely, the latter two were a bit weak on flavour.

Had a great filling meal at Vegan Garden. We shared the Vegan Garden Tasting platter for starters which had a lovely cashew hummus, pumpkin cream and egg plant cream with pitta bread. We then had the Hungarian Bean Goulash and Mushroom Paprikash as mains, and the very filling dumpling dessert. Also drank the Budapest IPA beer. Highly recommended. Will possibly visit for a second time whilst in Budapest as there’s lots more to explore on the menu including pizzas, pastas, burgers (and nuggets for the children).

We got there just in time to secure the last walk in table before they started turning people away in what I assumed was the dinner rush. Speaking of rush, we found there was a bit of a wait on our food and so we ended up being in quite a rush to eat and pay our bill. I had the mushroom paprikash which was delicious, as was my elderflower mint lemonade. Lots of variety on the menu and somewhere you easily have a very satisfying 3 course meal.

We liked the food so much that we came back several times. The staff was friendly too. The only downside I could see was that it was a bit more expensive than other similar restaurants we visited.
