Maybe it's because I read all the good reviews so I had high hopes, specially knowing it wasn't the most affordable choice, but my experience was not that great.
Read moreOrdered the mushroom dish, which was not edible for me, probably due to some spice there. Left a full plate. But instead of coming towards me, the waitress was kinda arguing with me. I ordered the pizza as I thought it was a safe bet, but to be honest, it was pretty bad as well. Ate half and couldn't even finish. Ended up paying almost 8000 for a meal I didn't eat much of.
Maybe it was just my experience, and not their fault I didn't like the food, but I left the place pretty sad to be honest, as no one there even cared I didn't eat the food.
Been traveling a lot as a vegan travel blogger, and this visit was probably the worst I had using the app.
Luckily in most times, it's not the case.

It's a very nice restaurant with great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Elderflower Lemonade was very good. However, the mushroom paprikash tasted a little boring in my opinion. But I was thankful to try this traditional dish.

Was in Budapest for 3 nights and was so pleased they had a vegan restaurant as was worried I would struggle to find somewhere. Ended up going for a meal 2 nights in a row. Food was amazing with great service. Was a beautiful restaurant with lovely atmosphere. 100% recommend if you are in Budapest.

Cozy vegan spot. The vibe was inviting, and the staff was quick and friendly. I was bummed at first that the chicken burger was sold out, but honestly, there were so many tasty options that I didn’t mind in the end. Perfect place to relax and enjoy some good food!

After spending all day walking outside in the cold, we were tired and freezing and looking for something nice to warm us up. Vegan Garden did not disappoint. We tried two appetizers and two main dishes and they were excellent! I may go back again later this week to try some more!

First vegan food restaurant in Hungary done and dusted, and what a great first pick! Vegan garden Budapest invited us in with open arms (even though I could tell they knew we’d been drinking hahaha) and gave us a delightful dinner with fantastic flavours and a great variety.
Read moreWe grabbed a garden pizza to share between 3, veggies with rice and tofu, tomato spaghetti, and a mushroom stew like dish which name escapes me but it was really, really good. You can see it in the pics but it was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented.
Staff were so wonderful, ready to banter and were super attentive. Love this place! A great stop for any vegan visiting Budapest.

I have been here twice in the past 6 months. Nice interior and friendly staff. The restaurant is 100% vegan so this is a huge relief when dining out. I had the bruschetta, followed by the ravioli. My partner had the risotto which was nice. My ravioli was really nice and I enjoyed the sage butter. They have a very big drinks menu (both alcoholic & non alcoholic) including cocktails and a small wine menu.

A vegetarian/vegan restaurant should have vegetables with every dish not only simple carbs and fake meats/tofu... we should have ordered salad to get some greens ; they don't offer a mixed veggie dish. I hope they read this and add some vegetable dishes or just add veggies to their current dishes for the next time I visit them.
