Amazing Korean food in a Hanok - Edit
A great variety of Korean vegan food similar to Maru Gimbap in Insadong. I really love the traditional location with the small courtyard. The food is delicious, the portions have a good size and the owners are super kind! Highly recommended!

Small menu but delicious! - Edit
This is a beautiful little vegan cafe in an Insadong alley. I was brought in to sit and never brought a menu even though others were, so I eventually got up to see that I had to order at the screen in front. I ordered the Tteokbokki and Curry Fried Chikn. So far it was the best vegan tteokbokki AND best vegan fried chicken I had in Korea, and I tried quite a bit! Get a lemonade (it always seems to be sparkling in Korea) for a nice treat on a hot day!

Cons: Brought menu to others but not to me

Delicious and good price - Edit
I had the bibimbap and curry fried chicken dish which were both great, especially the spices in the bibimbap! The restaurant itself is very aesthetic with nice wood pieces and a garden. I highly recommend trying the food here.

Good vibe and affordable good food - Edit
The restaurant has the hanok house (traditional Korean house) vibe with a modernized touch. Ordering was done through a kiosk. The menu should please everyone's palate.

Authentic dining experience! - Edit
The dining area is lovely and authentic! Did not manage to clarify on all the mains but for the side dishes, all contain alliums except for the nurungi mushroom soup and sweet and sour shrimp. My non-vegetarian friend also enjoys the food there:)

Great Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Tried the fried chicken, sweet and sour mushroom with the crispy rice. The fried chicken texture is not what I like, as it’s made of soy, but the taste is great! The sweet and sour mushroom is my top favorite as for now. Definitely will come back to try other dishes!

Excellent food in a lovely hanok with friendly service. Really enjoyed the rice cake dumpling soup (떤만두국) and the jjol myeon (쫄면). I wish there was a location in Vancouver too!

Lovely place - Edit
This place was so nice, and portions so filling between the two of us. The person who served us (the owner?) was so friendly. They have pictures available of all dishes, with captions in English and Korean. No desserts noticed at the moment. A nice peaceful setting.

Big love - Edit
Friendly people and a sweet place with a beautiful inner yard. Very good quality food, definitely worth the price. Also ordered the amazing Kimchi Quesadilla (my fav), but don‘t have a picture of it because we couldn‘t wait to eat it. So yummy! This place deserves support.

Incredible food! - Edit
My partner and I came here twice on our visit to Seoul, it was conveniently 2 minutes from our hotel! The food is so good - my faves were the dumplings and the kimchi quesadilla! But everything we had was really good and large portions. The people who run it are so lovely 🥰 also the setting is lovely with the cute courtyard and old renovated building.

Lovely vegan place! - Edit
Such a wonderful place with lots of options. Run by staff that already worked at maru JaYeonSik Kimbap. Super kind and incredible welcoming!
Read moreThe food was delicious, many different options and sizes on the menu. Prices are very fair. The location is lovely, you can tell they put their heart in it.
Maybe not that easy to find if you’re not explicitly looking for it, but it’s worth a visit. Very calm neighborhood as well. They also have a bigger table for groups!

Authentic Tteok Mandu Soup ! - Edit
The place is quite small but very cute, as it is in a traditional Korean house Hanok. That was really delicious. It really tastes like the non-vegan version. I removed one star because I had to wait at least 5 minutes to get sitted and then 5 minutes to order food (the person seemed very busy to serve other people). I felt a bit ignored actually.
