I am gf and vegetarian. I had the small set which came with rice, soup and three sides - the "main" aspect was two little savoury pakora/muffin/quiche things. Sides were natto, a very soft tofu sour cream thing and potato salad with almonds. The woman serving asked whether I was vegan or vegetarian and spoke very good English so I was able to explain what I could and could not eat. My partner got the veg curry which also came with a leafy salad. Some meat things on the menu but everything indicates if it's gf/vegan/etc. We also got some gf banana bread to take away. All delish.

Zero waste kyoto - Edit
Vegan options were tasty, it was so expensive. There matcha latte was 1.5 times the Japanese minimum wage. It was so expensive I felt like crying.

Fabulous food in relaxing atmosphere - Edit
Wonderful in every way. English menu available. Perfect Japanese flavors made to order to accommodate vegetarian and some allergies. Came twice. Would come again it I could. Recommend deli selection of 3 small dishes and bread for lunch. Curry for dinner was great too. So friendly and calm place to sit and enjoy
