Lots of vegan options - Edit
They have lots of vegan choices in the regular menu as well as on the seasonal one. I had the spinach dumplings and they were simple but delicious.

Great for a gluten-free diet! - Edit
Everything is glutenfree and lactosefree. Even great glutenfree draft beer specially brewed in Salzburg. There are enough vegetarian dishes. The style is still a bit östereichosch which makes it nice for everybody. The portions however are quite large. The staff is lovely and quick.

Nice for trying more traditional Austrian food. Could have a few more vegan choices. The mushroom ragout needs to be ordered with potatoes instead of Nockerln to be vegan, which I forgot. Nice staff.

Great traditional Austrian food - Edit
My vegetarian Austrian friend took me to Zum Wohl, knowing that I'm vegan.
Read moreThe interior is classic, old European style with a tall ceiling and old furniture.
The menu contains many vegan or "vegan possible" items. I tasted the pumpkin and the tomato soup. Both were very tasty and huge portions. As a main dish, I ate spinach dumplings with tomato sauce, which was also lovely and a big portion.
I highly recommend this restaurant for traditional Austrian food veganised.
Pros: Very tasty food , Huge portions, Traditional Austrian food veganised

Disappointing - Edit
They claim to be for everyone and even advertise their vegan food.
Read moreI ordered the mushroom ragout which is labeled as vegan possible in the Menue.
So I ordered it as vegan and the waiter told me that it is always vegan. Apparently (as I found out later) it is only vegan if you order it with potatoes instead of Nockerl, which the staff really should know or in case the do not know they should ask in the kitchen.
The place is quite crowded and i found that the quality of the food is quite standard.
Cons: Not many options, Staff does not know what vegan is

Awesome variety of vegan options. Fresh food, friendly staff, nice environment. I had the beet root carpaccio, lentil-ginger-soup and the „mohn schupfnudeln“ … pippy seed desert… absolutely delicious

It was ok. - Edit
The food was nice but not what we had expected for brunch - our fault. The waitress was lovely but had a cold and it was a bit off-putting as well as feeling bad for her (everyone needs to work). I got sick after too which was a bit rubbish (although that could have been from anything). The food was nice, not amazing and the hot chocolate was yummy.

I was pleasantly surprised!
Read moreI got a 3 course dinner, and the main - a spinach strudel in white asparagus sauce nearly blew me away. It was wonderful.
Very happy, and patient service. I would have given this place 5 cows if possible.
Just a few steps further down on the same street, there is a vegan shop.
Pros: Great Austrian cusine
Cons: Not all vegan

Gluten-Free, Lactose-Free Destination - Edit
Many vegetarian choices that are lactose and gluten free. Food is somewhat "heavy" but in keeping with Austrian cuisine. Suggest you share items for a variety of flavors and textures. Service was very good. They have an English menu which made ordering easy. My husband has celiac and delighted in a breadstick, beer and Apple strudel. He rarely has these many tasty choices. Being lactose intolerant, I enjoyed creamy textures and sauces I miss. It was a good choice.
Read morePros: Large variety of foods for different restrictions , Interesting taste and texture combinations, Cheerful, attentive service in comfortable venue
Cons: Dishes on the heavy/dense side
