Must Visit! - Edit
This bakery is honestly one of the best vegan bakeries I’ve been to. During our visit we went every day, my favourites were the Stromboli, vegan banana bread and choc chip cookies. The staff are super friendly and the food delicious! They also often go to the local market on Sunday’s so look out for them there!

Small bakery with yummy sandwiches - Edit
This place is small but friendly. Our group got a couple of Strombolis and breakfast sandwiches as well as a vegan coconut brownie and lilikoi lemon bar. There were just a couple of small tables on the sidewalk. It was a nice surprise to find a totally vegan bakery in such a small town.

Everything is excellent - Edit
This little bakery has evolved from a roadside stand, several years ago, to selling their baked goods at farmers' markets, to this lovely little bakery. They have breads and delicious main course items as well as cakes and pastries. I recommend the veggie pocket pie and the potato knishes. You can get these warmed up and enjoy them at one of the small outside tables. They have good banana bread and many kinds of pies and cakes but they aren't all available every day. I love the guava cake and the coconut lilikoi cake.

Vegan Heaven - Edit
This place is fully vegan and it’s delightful. Brownies are fantastic. Banana bread too, of course. I ordered a whole cheesecake from them for my birthday and it was so satisfying. They’ve got these little chocolate things with coconut cream filling called bing bongs that I love. They even have savory items too.

Amazing Elopement Cake - Edit
We ordered a wonderful cake for our tropical gothic-themed elopement on 11-11-22. It was a chocolate peanut butter cake, and it was delicious. All of the flavors of the cake popped and were fabulous. We also got two dairy-free cake pops for my 99-year-old great-grandmother. The whole team was so friendly and helpful. We did the decorations ourselves, as it was a simple elopement. Everything was perfect, and can't wait to try more cake flavors. Thank you so much for helping make our special day a day to remember! 💚

We loved that everything is plant based, including the “meats” and “cheeses” in the strombolis. There are a lot of delicious looking vegan baked goods to choose from for dessert.

For the gluten-free bread and dog biscuits. The Stromboli is amazing for lunch, and they have the best desserts! My favorites: ubu crinkle cookies, lemon lilikoi bars, all the cheesecake, pineapple upside down cupcakes. So thrilled to have a vegan bakery close to home!!

Vegan, gluten free, kosher, sugar and spice and all things nice - Edit
vegan, gluten free, kosher and all things nice. Being vegan is tough, being vegan and gluten free is even tougher so I very rarely eat dessert. I spotted this place on HappyCow and man was I a HappyHuman to find coconut lilikoi (passion fruit) cake! The cake was not too sweet which balanced well with the sweetness of the frosting. It was yum. I got two slices. I also tried the gluten free bread which was tasty when toasted but a bit crumbly when sliced. My friend got the chocolate banana cake and loved it. What a gem in a tiny little town.
Read moreMy only qualm, which is my qualm about most places, is that the to-go containers weren't sustainable.
Pros: 100% vegan , Savory and sweet options
Cons: Unsustainable packaging
Punabob
Mahalo for your review! Just FYI virtually all of our to go items are sustainable. Our containers are made out of bagasse, which is a sugar cane byproduct which otherwise ends up in landfill. Completely compostable. Most of our plastic looking wrappers are actually cellophane, not plastic. Our cups, dining wear all compostable non-plastic. We use plastic for our cake containers and cinnamon rolls at times. Cake dries out very quickly in bagasse containers. One can always request it in another container or paper plate. On an island with only 200,000 people our options for packaging are extremely limited, and some we have to have shipped at 3X the cost of what a bakery on the mainland would pay. Glad that you enjoyed your purchases!

Update: Our cake/cinnamon roll containers are now plant-plastic, as are our newest sauce containers.

A must go if you’re in the area - Edit
This bakery has sweet and savory options. Their sweet options aren’t as sweet as they look, which is a very good thing! They let the fruit and other ingredients become the star and naturally flavor their goods. We tried both sweet and savory options, with one being the Stromboli and also the focaccia. Again, not overpowering in the savory category which was a welcome experience. Highly recommend this bakery.

It's all vegan! - Edit
I've been trying their baked goods since they started at Uncle Robert's a year ago. First of all, it's actually all vegan, not even honey in anything. There are usually some gluten-free, raw, and low-sugar options but I say give me the gluten, fat, and sugar please!
Read moreOatmeal cream pies, cinnamon rolls, and his fruit-based cakes are all my favorites. I'm not a big chocolate fan, but his double chocolate orange cookies I love.
Virtually everything is as good as or better than vegan desserts I've tried all over the world, including in some famous vegan places in NY and San Francisco. Vegan baked goods have (unfortunately an often deserved) bad reputation for being dry, not sweet, and not like non-vegan desserts in taste and texture. As a vegan since 1990 even I am skeptical when I see vegan baked goods because they usually disappoint because someone tried to make them healthy or be gluten-free. I don't think anyone who tries any of these would have any clue they're vegan.
The only downside is that this stand is only at this one market, but this market is something that anyone visiting this area of Hawaii on Wednesday should go out of their way to do anyway. Apparently they'll also do custom orders locally.
Pros: Delicious sweets that would fool a non-vegan, Big servings, lots of options, Local fruit used in some of the treats
Cons: Only 1 evening per week, Some things are sold out if you get there late.
