In a fun modern area great variation of food for vegans and non vegans.
So many options here.
Veggies / fruit
From juices smoothies to dumplings bao buns pozole salads etc
I started going here over 20 years ago. This farmer's market is one of the best in San Diego! Love that it's still going strong. Tons of vegan food vendors, beautiful jewelry vendors, talented artists and good vibes abound. If you love a quality farmer's market and you're in the San Diego area...you MUST go! It's such a fun experience every time.
Love all the vegan options here. We especially like the Tempeh, kefir sodas, Hija de Maíz, Bazaar Bars, Baba Foods pita chips and vegan dip, seeded sourdough from The Bread Underground, and Maya’s Cookies. Lots of cool homemade jewelry vendors! Some of the vendors aren’t found here every week, we were sad to have missed Maya’s Cookies, but Kula ice cream is totally worth it! So creamy and we loved the chunky bits.
The Hillcrest Farmer’s Market is my favorite. There are many vegan vendors, fresh produce, and vegan options throughout the market. You can find Maya’s cookies and Mylk Dog (the BEST vegan queso), which are my two favorite stops, but there are more all-vegan vendors as well. I love the diversity of products, everyone is always so friendly, and it is just a great way to start a Sunday morning (if you get there early and don’t have to circle for parking). Highly recommend!
