Good way to try traditional food - Edit
We thoroughly enjoyed all the food. Some were more flavoursome then others but overall a must. My Omni bf was even questioning if it was really vegan!!

Nice vegan Feijoada - Edit
I ordered the vegan feijoada (black beans with veggie sausages, kale and rice). I was a complete version, including farofa (cassava flour with some dressings), fried banana, orange slice and vinagrete salad. The price is not the best for backpackers that need to save money, but if you want to choose a place to splurge a little, I recommend this one.

Traditionnal portuguese food veganized - Edit
I like that they serve many portuguese dishes made vegan. It's a great way to try them while in Lisbon!
Read moreObviously, i can't say if they are close to the original, but éverything I tried was very good.
Our slice of cheesecake was kind of forgotten and we had to ask for it again, but they made a nice gesture and offered it to us.

Typical Portuguese dishes made vegan! - Edit
I loved the idea of "veganizing" some typical Portuguese seafood dishes! We had happy octopus with potatoes and croquetas with vegan cheese and chorizo. Super good! The place is nice and cozy, service is quick and food delicious. Couldn't ask for more!

Nice place - Edit
Great starters and really nice and professional staff. Ordered a vegan francesinha and stuffed mushrooms as an appetiser. The francesinha sauce was good but the rest (bread, filling and cheese) was average. The mushrooms were on point, really tasty and well cooked.

Not the best we had in Lisbon - Edit
While the service was brilliant, and the place was nicely decorated, we found it be a little light on atmosphere, and the food a little light on flavour. The fish from the Tomato Rice and Fish dish was breaded and crispy, and it was a good-sized portion, but not our cup of tea.
Read moreThe Francesinha was definitely an interesting option, but again not really overly our thing. We wanted to try veganised versions of more traditional Portuguese food and are glad we did, but probably wouldn’t be back for a return visit.
If you are looking for somewhere in Lisbon that does more traditional Portuguese fare then do give it a visit, it just wasn’t our bag.

The reviews don’t lie! - Edit
I was initially quite afraid of the vegan fish, but it’s really not too fishy and the texture isn’t that frightening! The tomato rice dish and the fish is extremely flavoursome, and the bruschetta is nice and unique, but in the best way possible! Pleasantly surprised - this is a great place to go to for some usually non vegan-friendly Portuguese dishes!

Possibly the best vegan restaurant in Lisbon - Edit
This is going to fight it out with the Green Affair for the top accolade. It’s a relaxed setting in a quiet street in the downtown. Really helpful staff who are friendly and welcoming. Menu is built around mostly traditional Portuguese offerings. It’s super tasty, beautifully presented and well priced.

friendly service! - Edit
We came here accidentally but I am so happy we did! We were immediately welcomed by a friendly smile, owner spoke English, Spanish & Portuguese, drinks came out promptly followed shortly by appetizers.
Read moreI went back for the Croquetes! The first time I ordered the burger and it hit the spot! For our second time, the three people I went with had followed suite and ordered the burger as well. For my second trip I ordered the "Octopus" because curiosity and because I wanted to make my way through the menu :P
Oreo pudding was a delight and can easily be shared between 2-3 people.
Long story short, I'll keep going back(:

Nice service, underwhelming food - Edit
The servers were very nice, and I had a pleasant experience having a leisurely dinner alone, but the ambience is only so-so and the food left me underwhelmed. I ordered the “fish” with rice with beans and tomato (which also comes with a small side salad). It didn’t taste hot enough and I found it kind of bland. The sangria was a bit too sweet. The water was, I think, just tap water? It is possible that other dishes are better or it was just an off night. It is small and gets busy, so making an online reservation is recommended. In my experience so far, having tried a number of all-vegan restaurants in central Lisbon, you can find better food and value, including better veganized Portuguese dishes & comfort food.

nice atmosphere - Edit
We did not have a reservation for Saturday evening, but the server found a table for three, we promised not to be too slow in eating. In the end we didn't need to scoot out as other people left.
Read moreWe had the Franchescina which was a rather odd dish but filling and tasty. It could be improved with adding some couve Portugues (Portuguese cabbage) or having that as a side dish option.
Also the happy octopus which is a king oyster mushroom and other veg which is a smaller meal but enjoyed nevertheless.
Order the Snickers cake! And the mango cheesecake!
Reasonably priced wine.
Value for money.
The automatic doors are a problem in the winter because people stand waiting in the doorway which keeps the doors open and the cold draught is not pleasant.
Pros: Nice atmosphere and comfortable chairs., Attentive servers but not annoying.
Cons: cold draughts

Deep Fried - Edit
Well, the starters were great, especially the Portuguese sausage and cheese croquettes. The main course I had was inventive (Happy Octopus was created of a mushroom with a bite) but way too much oil. In fact when we entered the restaurant he smell of frying oil was unavoidable.
Read moreThe other main menu was 'fish and chips'. Rather inventive also: vegetable (still couldn't figure which one) wrapped in seaweed and heavily breaded, but also too greasy.

Lovely food served by a great waiter - Edit
Last night my partner and I had a lovely meal here.
Read moreThe waiter (who invented the snickers tart) served us, and he was sooo lovely and smiley. Very busy but always kept his cool.
Loved every dish.
Little tip: I’d say the snickers dessert would maybe benefit from a sprinkle of rock salt to add some je ne sais quoi!
