The king of vegans in Lisbon! - Edit
We were greeted by a smiley waiter when we visited slightly later without a reservation on a busy weekend night. Great vibes and music. Quirky decor including a very large paper mache King Kong! Perfect night. I'll be a monkey's uncle if you find a cooler vegan restaurant in Lisbon.

Excellent 👌 Great place to have a traditional Portuguese dish with a vegan twist. Very tasty. It was incredible how it looked exactly like the traditional dishes. Highly recommended.

Lovely dinner venue - Edit
Tried the vegan version of the traditional Portuguese dishes and was not disappointed. Was really lucky to get a table in this place as got a cancellation - would therefore recommend booking in advance. Lovely Friday night atmosphere. Colourful vibe. Really enjoyed it here.

I went here because I was curious to try some nice local Portugese dishes. Maybe the cuisine is just not for me. The dishes weren’t bad, but they were very fatty and salty. There also weren’t any vegetables present on my plate. The food made me slightly nauseous. The taste wasn’t bad though, but nothing special.

Traditional Portuguese dishes made Vegan! - Edit
We loved Kong! Was so great to be able to try a traditional Portuguese dish but made vegan! I had a Seitan steak, rice, chips and a vegan egg. It was delicious and the sauce it came with was amazing! I would definitely recommend for someone who wants to try traditional cuisine.

Amazing vegan restaurant in Lisbon - Edit
We were looking for a spot to eat and randomly chose Kong, didn’t think much of it. We got the last available table(on a Wednesday evening around 8pm). Only once getting a table we found out it’s a 100% vegan restaurant. Right away the staff was super friendly! We got the bruschetta and cauliflower wings starters. Bruschetta especially was sooo good, I ate it so quickly I didn’t even have a chance to take a pic! For mains we had Pitoque(sauce on the seitan steak was super good) and king burger(best vegan bacon I’ve ever had). And we were there quite a while, had to get dessert too - oreo mousse and nutella cake. Mousse was delicious, loved it! The cake was sweet and quite heavy, but really tasted like Nutella(or what I remember it tasted like 8 years ago haha). I really recommend this place, we had a blast!!! Oh and the house wine - fruity and delicious, really good!

We decided to go there because of the good reviews and were not disappointed at all! We had the Happy Octopus and the fish with tomato rice, both was really good. The nutella cake for dessert was the perfect finish😄also the staff is super friendly!

We went here tonight and the food was lovely. The waiter was great and it was a very pleasant surprise to try (authentic style) Portuguese dishes that I would otherwise would have not been able to eat! I have a dairy and egg allergy as well so great to eat stress free!

Looking at these reviews I was very excited to eat here. The service was good. I booked online an hour before arrival. I called to let them know I would be 15 mins late for the reservation, this was no problem. The food however disappointed us. We got the croquettes with sausage as a starter which was okay. For mains we got the Bitoque: Steak with mustard sauce, egg, fries and rice. The egg was very oily and the yolk way too salty. I did not like the vinegar-y taste of the sauce. The seitan steak was okay albeit a bit too chewy (as expected of seitan). The rice didn’t suit the rest. I did not finish my plate.

Lastly, the lemonade with berries was very sour and had actual crushed berry pieces in it which would have been fine if we got a straw. We ordered a bottle of water to dilute the lemonade.. in conclusion, based off what we ordered we wouldn’t return. Maybe the other dishes would’ve been more to our liking. The restaurant was very cozy and nicely decorated though.

It's amazing if you are looking for typical Portuguese food turned vegan! Just try the whole menu. The Francesinha is really good. I always go for the fish and chips dish and the alheira appetizer!

Great food here with some unusual dishes and veganised versions of traditional portugese dishes. Cauliflower wings and the croquettes starters were delicious! The service was excellent and very quick. A great spot for an evening meal.

This restaurant is 100% vegan. We tried two Portuguese dishes: the tomato rice with fried fish and potatoes with spinach and mushroom octopus. The fried fish was really crunchy and well seasoned. The spinach was delicious and the mushroom octopus had a nice bite. If you want to try a vegan version of a Portuguese dish, this is the place to go!
