There’s Always Time For Ice Cream - Edit
I was playing it somewhat fast and loose when I made a last minute executive decision to quell my desire for gelato. Train timetables be damned, I wanted ice cream! I was richly rewarded for daredevil escapades with deep, chocolatey goodness and smooth, velvety textures. Used as a base upon which toppings are added, the majority of the serving was chocolate ice cream, though this differed when it came to the hazelnut variety.

Only few vegan options and too expensive, but recommended for chocolate lovers! - Edit
They offer only few vegan options like dark chocolate topped with caramelized orange , hazelnut and apricot. They also have few fruit flavours. The ice-cream tastes really good expecially chocolate but it is too expensive for the quantity of ice-cream they serve.

Had the marotto (dark chocolate/hazelnut) which was really thick and creamy

The Marotto (chocolate and hazelnut) was AMAZING but Pesca Vaniglia tastes HORRIBLE (like fish!). I wish they had more options. Pistachio is clearly missing from the menu.

The coolest Ice Cream shop in town! They’re really aware about what’s vegan and what’s not, have a good variety of vegan flavours and the taste is AMAZING!

I like to eat ice cream in every season and if it’s a good quality like this one is even better. Inside the new Mercato Centrale in Milan, close to a lot of other not-really-vegan-friendly restaurants, Mara dei Boschi is an ice cream, chocolate and coffee laboratory which offers a lot of vegan and gluten free options. In the flavor list (attached) there are some specialties from Piemonte, really appreciated. Good quality ingredients and some other ideas for gift to bring over if you are traveling by train or taking a bus to airport.
