Consiglio la pizza con la zucca, saporita ma delicata. Impasto e condimento ottimi.

It Has a Vegan Menu /Ha un Menu Vegano - Edit
***In early November, Sicily celebrates The Day of the Dead (also known as All Saints Day) with a traditional cookie known as the Totò. It typically contains lard & milk. But the vegan version is available here. The cookies come in chocolate or lemon and are my new favorite sweet treat. They won’t be around for long so be sure to stop in at Astone & stock up! Read moreThis little cafe/bread shop is in what I consider the "suburbs" of Siracusa. No tourist sites are here, but the short drive, bike ride, or long walk is worth it. I have been in Sicily for about 2.5 years and have found this shop to offer the best arancino on the island. They are small compared to some but offered at a very reasonable 2.50€ each. The menu includes two flavors, offering vegan mozzarella made with rice (riso). Their menu contains three vegan pizzas with the same cheese, pesto, vegetables, etc. I am always looking for surprise vegan options, so I think visiting is worth the effort. And it is easy to combine dining here with a trip to the city's only organic, vegan-friendly grocery store, NaturaSì.

Il pane è senza ingredienti di origine animale; presenti arancine vegane (buonissime quelle con broccoli, olive e mozzarisella) e su prenotazione le fa come si vuole! Utilizza la mozzarisella e a menù ci sono 3 tipi di pizze vegane. Ottimi anche i totò (dolcetti tipici) #Veganuary

Friendly, different options, delicious! - Edit
Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. A number of varieties of vegan arancione and any of their pizzas can be made vegan. Variety of vegan rolls and beads too. Definitely check them out. Convenient near the organic grocery store.

Arancino buonissimo - Edit
Entrata in negozio ho subito trovato un arancino caldo vegan con pesto, melanzane e mozzarisella. Niente da invidiare al sapore degli arancini classici: delizioso come fosse fatto in casa! Ho potuto mangiarlo solo più tardi, ma essendo ben incartato, dopo un'ora era ancora caldo.
