Love it! - Edit
Found this place by accident after looking in so many cafes and pubs in Bridlington and not finding any that sold vegan food and it was worth the wait! The venue had a beautiful atmosphere, the staff were lovely and friendly and the menu had so many great sounding foods, ranging from naturally vegan food to meat and cheese substitutes. The prices were adequate for the volume and quality of food you got and the food was amazing.

Amazing! - Edit
What a gem! Can buy all the things I need to stock the cupboards, get some decent vegan cheeses including artisan ones, and then grab a drink and a meal, or some bakes. I came for vegan cheese, stayed for the Christmas loose leaf tea and vegan cornish pasty meal, and left with 2 of the vegan white chocolate cookies (which were heavenly like shortbread and went down well with my bf). I will visit again for sure

Great little vegan cafe - Edit
We popped in for lunch. They are dog friendly. I had a lovely Cornish pasty and organic apple juice. My partner had a flapjack and a dirty turmeric chai latte. It was all homemade and very tasty. We also bought some sweet treats and mushroom pate from the shop. We will return!

Full to bursting, we still managed 2 pots of tea and a dirty mushroom latte complete with mushroom decoration - try it!!!

Lovely food - Edit
Such a cute little place with lots of choice. I had a hot chocolate with the biggest marshmallows I've ever seen, soup and bread served in the most beautiful bowl, and a scone with jam and cream. Everything was delicious, and the portion sizes were great. The shop also had a good range of produce and lots of things you don't always come across easily, so I got some cheese, soup, and beans with sausages to take home to try.

Very impressed - Edit
Although Happy Cow saying closed we walked past and found them open. We asked for something off the menu because we're trying to follow Dr. Greger's DAILY DOZEN app and books on health. He made us tofu and fresh organic green salad - items I've never seen or tried before. He made a homemade dressing too. We loved it. This business is fully vegan and has a cafe style menu with lots of cakes. The shop part is fully stocked. Plenty of tables/chairs instead. The hours are 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat. The status of the business needs changing to VEGAN and the hours needs updating. I've done that via the update button. Hopefully HC will change the details soon. Loved eating here. Very cheery and friendly faces. We're only visiting the area otherwise we'd be regulars.

You Couldn't Wish For More - Edit
It is very easy to miss the fact that EVERYTHNING in and about this shop & studio is vegan! What more could you want?
Read moreWhat Planetwise sells: Snacks, refrigerated items, frozen items, new ethical clothes, revamped upcycled clothes, books (secondhand and new), fresh produce from the local Transition Town Allotment, a huge gluten free range which is clearly marked, beauty products, household items, a refill station for common products, art by local artists, dried food, tinned food, the largest selection of tea known to exist, all the milk alternatives, more flour products than you can name, sweet treats, and SO MUCH MORE!
The people who run is are some of the most helpful people you will ever meet. If there is something you are after they will try their best to stock it for you.
The studio (from experience pre-Covid) offers an amazingly comfortable and safe venue for all the classes and gathering you attend.
Pricing is realistic and good value.
I have been using and have occasionally volunteered at this business since it first opened over 4 years ago. It is undoubtedly the cornerstone of the community, and not just for the local vegans and vegetarians. If you are in the area then stop by to support the business and get yourself something nice.
I can not rate Planetwise and the owner Mary enough!
Pros: Vegan Heaven, Super Friendly, Cornerstone of Community
