Love this spot!! - Edit
Where do I begin? Whether the macho burrito, rosemary fries, Mama Africa Salad, Buffalo portobello, Cajun fried okra just like my Momma makes, yam gnocchi... should I go on!? If you haven’t been here, you must! It’s a special treat for even omnivores!!

Who doesn't love Plum Bistro? - Edit
Plum is a great convert-your-friends kind of place, and a great occasion or date restaurant in particular. It's beautiful, all of the food is really good, and there is something from everyone, from comfort food to more refined tastes. Personally, my favorite menu item so far is the Southern Slam, which is a home run in terms of texture, umami, balance, beautiful garlicky greens, and grits. The benedict wasn't my favorite, but I think that's a matter of taste, and the chips it came with were simply the best I've had. My partner did not love the bacon pancakes because they were "too like bacon" so if you actively dislike the taste and texture of meat, maybe avoid the meat-imitator dishes. If you want Thanksgiving reservations, GET IN EARLY, because they disappear so fast. I've frequently heard nonvegetarians extolling the joys of Plum Bistro just walking down the street.
Read morePros: Could convert your nonvegan friends, Hits you right in the nostalgia with comfort food, Great for occasions and date nights
Cons: Pricy - but Chopped next door is a budget option!, Long waits or reservations booked up is common, Some dishes will squick vegans (too like meat)

Amazing location and presentation, not worth it - Edit
This place is way overpriced for the portion size and lack of real flavor. I left feeling hungry and unsatisfied. The dishes were beautiful, but $10 for 3 mushrooms on a plate? Come on.

Gorgeous food. - Edit
This place is absolutely amazing. It has an easy to navigate menu, not too long, not too short. The food is very tasty and consistent. We had to wait about one hour for a table but it was on a Sunday lunchtime and we didn’t make a reservation. The staff was very helpful and efficient.

Mediocre food, poor service - Edit
I like the atmosphere of Plum Bistro and the food was tasty for both me and my companion (oddly though we were offered the Brunch menu late in the afternoon). Our waitress was totally indifferent about waiting on us or answering any questions we had, which were very basic. She couldn't be bothered to refill drinks and never asked if we wanted dessert (we had planned on having dessert). I would try this place again and hope for better service. If the service didn't improve I wouldn't go back.
Read more10/18 - My husband and I ate here in October and weren't impressed. Again, the service was so-so at best. The food wasn't anything great. We ordered a variety of entrees and so tried many different items from the menu. I'm not sure why so many people love this place. After this trip to Plum Bistro, we've decided it will be our last.

WOW - Edit
Ok, this place is delicious. I got the jerk tofu and yam burger with a side of russet potato fries with a vegan aioli dipping sauce. Wow, the combo of flavors from the jet tofu, puréed yam, onion, and cabbage (almost a sauerkraut) was amazing.

Great For A Special Dinner Out - Edit
This place is tiny. But the food is mighty. Plating sizes are normal. All vegan, with gluten-free options it's one place I usually only go to for special events or date nights. I suggest getting a reservation, anytime, any day of the week. It's hard to tell when they'll be busy and since it's so small it fills up quickly.

The best vegan Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. My wife had a vegan burrito which was delicious as well. The salad was very bland. A little on the pricey side.

Prices are going up - Edit
I love Plum, but the prices keep rising and 20% service is now added to the bill. Tonight the restaurant was freezing. It does get cold in Seattle. I hate to say this but I think Plum is overpriced for the quality of the food.
