The best tacos ever! Seriously. - Edit
Walking into Sol De Maple we were greeted by the owners who are so kind and friendly. There was so much to choose from, we tried the mole mushrooms, the enfrijoladas, the smoked fillet, the milkshakes, but the Baja tacos, dude… those were the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Came back as soon as we could for another plate! If you come to Cozumel you 100% need to eat here!

Lots of choice and everything we had was delicious!! We ordered the burrito, baja tacos, waffle, choc milkshakes, coffees and fresh lemonade. Staff/owners so lovely also. Highly recommend!

Best burritos!!!! - Edit
My partner and I have eaten twice since arriving at Cozumel.

Staff are super friendly and happy to chat and the energy is calm and chill.
We have had the quesadilla’s with their homemade cheese (which is gorgeous), but it’s the burritos that stood out for me.
I’ve eaten many burritos in my life and these are at the top of the list of best ever.
They are also served with a side of beans with a little chilli, as well as delicious roasted potatoes and carrots.
We have had two of the three on offer and unquestionably they are worth coming for.
One of them was made with a chickpea patty and smoky vegetables, salad, sprouts and their homemade cheese.
The other was a “fish burrito” made with similar ingredients as well as nori.
We have also had the Mexican tofu dish was absolutely delicious.
I saw one of the pizzas being served as well which looked great
Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Opened their brick and mortar restaurant just three months ago, Dafne, one of the owners, may just be one of the friendliest people we’ve met on the island. Her personality is as stunning as the food. I ordered the mole with mushrooms. I have eaten mole many times before becoming a vegan; this was one of the most sublime moles ever to grace my tongue. Add to that the fact that they make almost every ingredient in-house, from their own cheese to bread, you are not only getting incredibly tasty food, but fresh and wholesome food as well.

Beautiful delicious vegan foods - Edit
Such a nice selection of food. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Chocolate milkshake was very good just a little chunky. Price a little higher than the other vegan eateries in the area, but worth it! Will be back.

Family restaurant with super delicious food! - Edit
All dishes were made with love, looked and tasted good! Healthy vegan food with the Mexican touch. The staff are all family members and were very nice and welcoming. We ate hummus, chickpea salad, omelette, Mexican tofu and Mexican pizza.

It was raining cats and dogs and we were looking for a restaurant to eat.

As we arrived the service told us that, if we just came for a shelter because of the rain, it would be okay if we just stay there. We didn’t have to order something just because of the rain.
Just awesome and heartfelt!
But we didn't come because of the rain, but because we wanted to eat.
So we ordered a Smoothie, a Milkshake, Enchiladas and ice-cream.
They told us that they made the peanut butter, the chocolate and the ice-cream by their own…It tasted awesome!
The atmosphere in the restaurant was very familiar and cosy. Children were sitting on pillows on the ground watching TV and eating waffles.
They had sittings outside and inside, at a table or on pillows on the ground.
It felt like they invited you in their own living room.
Just beautiful. Definitely try this gem!

I always find difficulty to find vegan restaurants that offer a flavour experience, beyond fruits and vegetables. Sol de Maple achieves the perfect match between flavour and nutrition. Their waffles are crazy unbelievable and totally felt in love with the chick pea fillet. If you are in Cozumel give them a call, it is totally worth it.
