Cold latte for the save - Edit
Walked around the city for a while without data and decided to just give Starbucks a shot instead of drinking another americano from 7-eleven. Delicious oat milk latte served. All they had left was the plant based donut. Maybeee next time.

Can be a life saver - Edit
Starbucks coffe chain in Japan embraced plant based option much slower than Starbucks coffe in western countries, in fact until a couple of years ago they only had soy milk as a vegan option. In 2020 they started providing oat milk and almond milk for a limited time, now they became regular options! And finally, in June 2022 they launched their first plant based menu, which included a sugar donut, a matcha mousse, a meatball filone, an English muffin and a salad. It was supposed to be a limited menu, but lucky they kept it as a regular menu (changing some of the options from time to time, but they still have the sugar donut and the English muffin) and this choice made them a life saver for vegans/vegan Travellers all over Japan! Big cities aside, it’s pretty difficult to find vegan options in Japan, but it’s pretty easy to find a Starbucks, so anywhere you go at least you know that there’s a place where you can eat.
