The Tranquilo complex consists of beach, restaurant, bar, organic farm, guesthouse, yoga space, sunbeds and hammock areas. Menu features a variety of dishes, most of which are vegetarian and including vegan: veggie stacks, veggie wraps, vegan burger, pasta dishes, and big salads. Hosts morning yoga classes, live music, and art exhibitions. Fully vegetarian June 2023. Open Mon 9:00am-10:30pm, Wed 9:00am-9:00pm, Thu-Sun 9:00am-10:30pm. Lunch from 2pm. Closed Tue.

Beach day oasis for vegans (come hungry!) - Edit
Perissa is a small beach town so we thought we would not have that many options but boy oh boy am I happy I was wrong lol.
Read moreTranquilo is a fully vegetarian (and mostly vegan) bar with a very extensive menu, offering a wide range of dishes from breakfast stuff and milkshakes to lunch, snacks, salads and also traditional greek dishes. Their portions are super generous and everything we tried was delicious.
Their staff was also fantastic, they couldn’t have been friendlier, they were super attentive from the time we arrived and were also happy to bring some of our drinks to their beach chairs both before and after our lunch.
Their bar is beautiful, the seating options are super cool and they also have a big number of beach chairs, hammocks, bean bags and more if you also want to enjoy a wee bit of sun before or after your meal. Would 100% recommend!

The coolest place on the island - Edit
Tranquilo stands out from all the other restaurants at Perissá beach with its colourful comfortable inviting decor. Staff are warm and welcoming and bring you delicious food and cocktails to enjoy looking out to sea. We were staying in Fira on the other side of the island but took the bus to Perissá twice to eat here because nothing else compares, and we just couldn't leave without treating ourselves again.

There are not a lot of vegan options in the island (at least my experience April 2026), but Tranquilo has the best options and prices are great, portions are big so don’t be fool by prices, tacos were more than enough for me. The interior design of the restaurant is so nice, staff is kind and food is great, no brainer for me to come more than once

Tranquillo is a slice of hippie heaven! I would give this place infinite stars if I could! It’s a vegetarian paradise right on the beachfront, with wholesome food, reggae music, incredible cocktails and the loveliest staff. There are so many places to relax and unwind, including hammocks, swing chairs and sunbeds on the actual beach.
Read moreThey also have an adjoining guesthouse called Utopia. We didn’t stay there, but it looked like it lived up to it's name! They offer sunset yoga and hiking tours and also have a little gym there.
For food, we chose the potato curry and the gigantes beans, along with some olives and bread. Everything was hearty, comforting and really satisfying. After eating, we spent time relaxing in the hammocks with our books, with a piña colada in hand! I could have stayed all day.
Life doesn’t get much better than this!

Abbiamo preso 2 lettini in riva al mare.. Qui come in tutta Santorini non paghi ma devi consumare.. Abbiamo preso un ottimo succo. Poi abbiamo pranzato... Io un Gemista (pomodoro e peperone ripieno di riso con patate lesse).. Angela un piatto con riso verdure varie e uovo. Tutto ottimo e abbondante.. Poi abbiamo diviso una panna cotta Vegan e birra locale. Il menù è tutto veggy e Vegan. I prezzi più contenuti rispetto la media del posto. I gestori sono tutti giovani attenti e empatici. Da ritornare.

Comfy place, friendly staff, amazing food for a good price. The serving size is actually crazily huge. Don't dare ordering a main if you're not really hungry. But if you are hungry, don't you dare not eating here - you'd definitely miss out on something great!

Great place to relax. Loved the ginger lemonade, had it twice. As a starter the guacamole with pita bread was great, just too big for one person.

Loves this place and would have eaten here a lot more I'd I was closer. Chilled in their beach chairs with a coffee and smoothie for a couple of hours before lunch in the restaurant.

Was so happy to find some foodnother than the accidentally vegan Greek dishes which are nice, but you get over after a while.
Had the taco platter and a salad - with super tasty, some of the sauces were out of this world good.
Super cood vibe and staff really nice and friendly, and what a location! Recommend a visit to Perissa, the quieter side.

Serendipity saw us find Tranquilo while walking down the beach in Perissa. We stopped for a drink & had a couple of juices which were very refreshing. While looking at the menu we noticed it was littered with great vegan options. Opting for the Greek platter in the end. It was vibrant, fresh & full of intense flavours. I particularly enjoyed the lentil type stew with the fresh pitta breads. It was presented immaculately on a spinning platter board, a novelty which we both enjoyed. For me this is the must visit if you’re in Santorini.

Absolutely loved this place on Perissa beach and ate here multiple times. Huge portions, friendly staff and good music. You can order beers on the beach too for a chilled sunset. It does get busy!

Highly recommend ditching the busy streets of Fira and Oia to try out this gem!
