Wow was super pleased to find out there was a fully vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Vienna so obviously had to give it a go! Got the noodle salad with peanut sauce which was super yum and my friend had the fried noodles with shrimp (?) substitute which also tasted really good. I found it a bit funny how the menu just stated soy and tofu and you end up getting actual mock meat so if you're not a fan of that you should tell the staff. But in general really good experience, also had the sticky rice banana which was super yum😄Can highly recommend this place, portion sizes and price relation is quite awesome as well!

we had a really delicious and reasonably priced meal at vevi! we had the summer rolls (4,5€) and 2 noodle bowls (around 10€ each). we also tried their matcha tiramisu, which tasted okay but a bit bland, especially after the flavourful main dishes. all in all the food is great, we will definitely be back!

Zugegeben ist beim Ambiente noch Luft nach oben , das Essen aber war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Wir haben uns durch die Vorspeisenkarte geschlemmt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Jedes Gericht war hervorragend. Das Service war sehr freundlich und ambitioniert.

I just tried this restaurant a few days ago and I was fullfilled with happiness as I got my meals. I tried the summer rolls and a noodle bowl. Both tasted amazing! Completely recommendable! The staff was also competent and nice!

Favourite spot in Vienna - Edit
This place is without a doubt one of the best fully vegan restaurant in Vienna. We had planned to visit more but came back to this restaurant three times in the end because we loved the food so much.
Read moreThey offer a lunch menu for around 10€ with a starter, main dish and desert (in our case: a wantan -yummy but a bit small-, Vietnamese goulash and a matcha flavoured steamed rice cake). The price is great for what you get and the staff is so friendly!
It’s absolutely a must-visit place in Vienna, especially when you are a friend of the Vietnamese cuisine.

Motivated by the great reviews, I decided to give this place a go tonight. I had V41, rice noodles with soy and tofu, salad and mixed veggies and herbs, served with a yummy peanut sauce. My partner had a pho with soy and tofu.
Read moreThough the Pho portion wasn’t very large, both dishes were delicious; all ingredients tasted fresh and light, no greasiness or unwanted excessive ‘oomph’ which happens to be an issue sometimes. Most of the taste came simply from the quality ingredients and the nice combinations of textures and flavour profiles.
Also the drinks were really great, I had roasted coconut water and it was awesome, with actual bits of roasted fresh coconut that was a pleasure to chew on at the end😄unfortunately we didn’t get to try matcha tiramisu this time around, we had the baked ice cream which was okayish but a bit sweet for my personal taste. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. This place is such a great discovery! Love it!

Das Essen im Vevi hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, alle Zutaten waren frisch. Die Portionen sind recht groß und der Preis angemessen. Das Personal ist flott und freundlich. Im Schanigarten kann man auch gemütlich draußen sitzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

I have been there three times already and I'm in love with this restaurant, the food is amazing and the staff is so nice, although they sometimes seem a little disoriented. My son ordered his dish without mushrooms and I wasn't sure if they really understood it right. But they brought everything as ordered.

VeVi is relatively new in Vienna, service is super friendly, veggies are fresh, portions are large! We had the mixed starter plate and I was almost full after sharing it ;-), but would have missed out on a delicious yellow curry with tofu. Could not fit desserts but they all sound yummy! Bound to become a Vienna vegan favorite!

We were 4 people & ordered quite a lot of food (appetizers, soups, main dishes...) bc it was really hard to decide between all of this mouthwatering dishes! & everything was amazingly delicious 🤤 The staff was so cute & friendly ☺️ Definitely recommend!
