The best waffle I've ever had - Edit
The waffle is amazing: I didn't even have to use much maple syrup which is saying something. The toppings are generous as is the actual waffle.
Read moreThe Milanese ciabatta is very tasty: the bread they use is quality. All the food is excellent really. I like the coffee but the smoothie was more like a slushy with too much ice for me. Overall though, in my top 3 brunch places in all my travels. I keep going back!

Visite por 1ra vez y me encantó todo pedí orden de tacos de jackabirria y de carnitas de setas y noooo el sabor insuperable han sido los mejores tacos veganos que he probado, llevo una alimentación crudavegan100% y tenía medio que tal vez me cayeran mal, pero todo excelente se nota la calidad de los alimentos, fui con mi padre y el come carne y quedo maravillado con el burrito de milanesa y la malteada de fresa . El sabor, la porción, el lugar todo super!

What a gem. The food is incredible. Lots of hard to find specialty vegan items. I loved the banana waffle with cream and almonds. One of the best/most decadent vegan breakfasts I’ve ever had. Also wonderful coffee and tacos! Can’t miss!

We went twice for breakfast - great food, nice atmosphere with outdoor patio (dog friendly), and some small freezers with take-away items (Kombucha, pastries, cheese, mock meats etc).

But the flavours and presentation of the faux eggs, faux sausage and tempeh was incredible to make this a 5 star meal.

I almost passed on this place because the cover image was a pastry so I kind of assumed it was a bakery. But it’s actually an adorable breakfast and lunch place. My huevos rancheros were excellent and it was so nice to have tofu, which isn’t on many vegan menus around Guadalajara. I also got the seitan Milanesa, which was delightfully oily and super flavorful. My partner’s tempeh burrito was also excellent.

Everything was fresh and tasty in a cute, green setting. Tried the verde juice, chilaquiles with eggs, and the açaí bowl. Only negative was that the beans were too salty, but not a huge deal.

una verdadera delicia, desde su carta con la historia del maíz, y su variedad de comida en el menú, y ni se diga de los guisos, probé la yacabirria, el chicharrón, el pastor, el de asada mi favorito, pero sin duda lo más delicioso de todo es el wevo de tofu 😍😍, las malteadas super deliciosas (un poco más crema que malteada) e igual el chai sabroso y los cochinitos, lo único que no me gustó fue la hamburguesa deberían hacen su propio medallón sería más sabroso, de ahí en fuera salí maravillada de ahí, espero volver pronto 🫶🏻

I've eaten at all the vegan restaurants in Guadalajara. Choclo y Maíz is hands down the most delicious fresh vegan food you will find. It's a little more expensive than most restaurants in the GDL area, but it's a wonderful place to sit with friends or have a peaceful time by yourself studying or working while enjoying a coffee.
Read moreThey serve all of the best comfort Mexican food and drinks, but they have a great variety of other dishes from other cuisines as well. No matter what you order, it feels healthy and hearty in your stomach, and your taste buds will be happy.
They mostly serve breakfast, but there are options for lunch and dinner too. I recommend chilaquiles half and half the most, and strawberry with cream waffles. If they still offer them, the tamales are incredible. Every juice I tried was tasty, and the coffee and horchata are too. There are also vegansitos available to buy from the fridge.
I have eaten almost the entire menu and every single item is perfect. Come here and order anything, you will be served delicious food prepared with love.
