Visiting from Los Angeles and found this lovely spot. Very cute , friendly service and the food was amazing. I had a torta ahogata with asada. Soooo good. Also a michelada My daughter had a quesadilla and we were both thrilled with our choices.

Lots of options and free chips and salsas - Edit
I've enjoyed all that I've eaten here: chiles en nogada, torta ahogada, quesabirrias (my fave dish), and enchiladas stuffed with tofu and platano. I love the complimentary chips and salsas (with refills) but I guess it balances out because of all the restaurants we ate at in Guadalajara, this one was definitely the priciest one. Still worth it though. Lovely service too.

Amazing food! The enchiladas and Tamal were delicious, but the 'Setas en su Jugo' was phenomenal! The food not only tasted great but the presentation was equally as impressive! The staff was attentive and friendly, and Frida was super sweet. What a great place to celebrate our 8 years of being vegan!!!

I had the torta ahogada with beans and mushrooms. I wasn't thrilled. It had a lot of bread and not much filling. However, it was beautifully presented, the waiters were attentive and kind, and the place was cute.

We loved this place so much that we returned twice in our short visit to Guadalajara! Our waiter was excellent and recommended a special which ended up being our favorite dish. They have menus in English and well as Spanish and were also able to accommodate my partner who can’t eat gluten. I would highly recommend!

I went here literally three times while in Guadalajara and everything I tried was excellent. While the regional dishes (setas, torta ahogada, birria stew, quesabirria) are all fantastic, don’t sleep on the tacos, which are inexpensive and allow you to try so many different flavors and combinations. You won’t be disappointed with any of them but the simple bean tacos are especially excellent.

Lots of moles have chicken or pork in them. La Flaca lets you experience the cuisine without having to worry about that. Plus - beautiful presentation, great tasting food and friendly staff.

We ate here twice in the two days we had in Guadalajara. Standouts were definitely the enmoladas and the pozole. Yum! Also enjoyed the cauliflower, tacos, torta ahogada, berry pie, and passion fruit cocktails. Recommend!!
