big market

there are many differwnt things sold at the market stands. you'll find fruits & veggies, sweets, delicatessen, bread, noodles, ...
in my opinion, some of the vendors are too obtrusive and in some areas it smells extremely because of meat and cheese.

With Everything and More!

A very intriguing market, with dishes from the most diverse cultures. There is a nice atmosphere inside, the products are very varied and the prices are reasonable. It's a place to while away the hours

Review - Naschmarkt

THE BEST MARKET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I think I repeat myself constantly but I’m not exaggerating when I’m saying everything I tasted was heaven on earth, from dehydrated fruit to nuts and even the best cooked falafel ever! Plus, we found the most divine vegetarian noodles to have lunch 🍜 I also had a nice coffee with oat milk in some place and bought a natural red fruit tea.

Naschmarkt

My partner and I basically ate at Naschmarkt every day (expect for a few meals since I as sick on this trip) when we travelled to Wien a few years ago. I remember having vegan asian food here and really liked it. It's a really nice historic market that warrants a visit whether you eat there or not.

Historical and tourist hotspot

The Naschmarkt is probably the most popular market in Vienna (also the biggest), everyone has heard about it. It exists for a couple of centuries and it used to be a place where people could get exotic spices and ingredients. Nowadays it's a place packed with restaurants and shops selling ingredients, spices and foods from all over the world, from many cultures. This entry on Happy Cow only marks the entire location of Naschmarkt (over 23 000 square meters ~ 27 000 square yards), no specific places where you can buy something.
