Vegan cheese and local tofu - Edit
Great little health food shop which stocked unsweetened soy yogurt (only place we found it in Italy) along with a very tasty vegan Camembert style cheese and some really delicious Italian tofu with mixed herbs. Good selection of nut butters, jams, fun pastas, etc.

Really friendly service and good selection of sweets with sugar free options. Also some basic macrobiotic products like miso, brown rice and seaweeds available. Highly recommended.

It is possible to order rice bread for delivery on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (the order must be placed the day before the delivery, before noon). Soy yogurts available but very expensive. Fruits, vegetables and yogurts are very expensive. Friendly staff.

Contemplated going to a few organic/health food shops in Florence. Sugar Blues was one of my first stops (so glad it was!) They carry a nice variety of fresh breads (kamut/vegan..etc) and baked goods...teas, spices, beans/lentils and anything you could need at a grocery store. They also sold mala beads and some house ware/skin care which was really nice to see. The lady was super friendly and bagged my groceries (SUPER rare in Florence, it was super appreciated!) also in eco friendly bag since I forgot mine. Definitely check this one out :)

Vegan food items include some fresh fruit and veg, mock meats by taifun and wheaty, mozzarisella and other cheeses, yogurts by Sojade (pricey), plant milks, cookies and biscuits, fruit/health bars, pasta, rice, grains and sauces. Lots of Italian products as well as many from mainland Europe.
Read moreWe visited here a couple of times to stock up our nearby apartment. Staff are friendly, and there are plenty of cosmetic and herbal products too. Recommend going if you're in the area.

Wonderful health food store!!! - Edit
While I've found a few small health food stores in Florence (that are great!), this one is also great,, and.. bigger! so that means MORE choices!!! Yay!! They have all kinds of stuff that you would normally want in a health food store, from different types of alternative milks, pastas, beans, snacks, spreads, cosmetics, some refrigerated and frozen stuff (including a vegan cheese).. as well as some fresh, organic ("bio") produce, bread AND a great little herb area in the back, with essential oils, etc.
