They have so many options that sound so tasty, that we struggled to even decide what to eat. Everything is made fresh and I definitely recommend coming here when in Cozumel. It's such a lovely place and we even got to see a hummingbird flying around. Amazing experience all around.

What a nice break from the mediocre food on a cruise ship to come to Vegan barrio and have the most delicious lunch! Very authentic and everything was perfect. We ordered so many dishes.

Best tacos on the planet - Edit
We had the tacos barrio and honestly they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. The homemade blue corn tortillas with the seitan steak were incredible. The soy chorizo was great too. They really know how to do seitan here, the texture and flavour are spot on and it actually tastes authentic.

Great food. Came at lunch on a weekday. Only a few people who had already been served. It took a half hour to get our food. It cost me $20 to get the taxi to wait for the food. But - it was delicious. Good prices. Go if you can spare the time, not if you are in a hurry.

Some of the best vegan food I’ve had in ages - Edit
Me and my friend ate here every single night of our 4 days trip. We tried almost every entree and loved them all. The hot dog is honestly a stand out and the cardamom hibiscus water is excellent. Beautiful patio, excellent service, and delicious food. My friends favourite was the peanut tofu scramble and mine were the enchiladas.

Vegan Barrio is a must try on Cozumel! The staff were so friendly, there were also friendly dogs and cats hanging out that loved a pet! The food was amazing, 5 of us went all had a different starter and main and each one was delicious. The portions are extremely generous and the homemade drinks were all a hit.

Everything is great. I especially like having breakfast or brunch here. Tofu scramble with the steak seitan, rice beans and tortillas is awesome.

Absolutely love the food here… The best balance of everything! Best decor, best food, and kids truly enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks were so fresh and the food was amazing. Kids absolutely loved the food as well. The rain came down really hard and because there were swings and games and books to read it made the experience so perfect. We also saw a beautiful hummingbird fly in!

We had dinner at Vegan Barrio and would highly recommend. I had a delicious Caesar Salad and chocolate milk shake. It is open but undercover, surrounded by plants and trees with swings! The food and smiling service was exceptional. We will be back!

What a cool little gem in Cozumel. Vegan Barrio has this laid-back, open-air setup that feels like you’re hanging out at a backyard barbecue, with better food and no one asking you to bring potato salad. It’s basically a shared space with around five different restaurants and a bar, so everyone can order whatever they want and still sit together. Plastic tables and chairs, but everything was clean and casual in the best way. I love these kinds of open-concept restaurant spots. easy, relaxed, and a win for mixed groups or indecisive eaters. Was so good the first time I had to come back for more.

We were in Cozumel for 3 weeks and ate here so many times. Everything was great and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The guacamole was one of the best I've ever had, anywhere. Favorites were tacos dorados, steak sopes, quesa-brosas and tacos de canasta.

The menu is big lots of variety, we went there a couple of times and enjoyed most of the food. We found the chorizo one very salty and not to our taste, which was disappointing given the hype of that dish on here and Google... But we did enjoy the quesa-brosas, the steak one. Was not too expensive compared to other places.
