Set in a quirky pub this place offers really tasty “fish” & chips.

We ordered the wings and rings but this was probably one side too many. They tasted really good but was just a lot of food.
For mains we had the Faddock and the Fackrel these came with mushy peas, tartare sauce, chunky chips and the tofu “fish”
I preferred the Fackrel as the smoky flavour was really good. But the way they construct the tofu means the “fishy” flavour runs throughout both dishes.
We were also given some battered Oreo’s on the house. They were surprisingly good. Like little doughnuts with Oreo filling.

Best vegan fish - Edit
By far the best vegan fish and chips I’ve had since becoming vegan! My partner (who is not vegan) also said this is incredible and would definitely come back. We have plans to change our dinner reservations tomorrow so we can dine here again.

Happy Fish prides themselves on being vegan fish specialists and they really are! We specifically chose "fish" to try out this claim and it was the best fish alternative I have ever tasted.

My wife and I had a great time at The Dog House and the food from Happy Fish was delicious! We had great service, too! There seemed to be just one person serving and preparing the food, so they were super busy. Naturally it took a little while for us to get our food, but we were not in any hurry because the pub was a lot of fun. The food was worth the wait! I highly recommend Happy Fish!

The space is fantastic. have a totally vegan menu which you can choose with ease. to choose should send SMS through the WhatsApp that is on the menu. Live music makes the bar a good experience.

Wer über 30 (OK ich bin doppelt so alt) ist, sollte sich auf ein junges Publikum einstellen und Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen. Die Musik war ohrenbetäubend!

Aber zum Essen: Alles frittiert und genau deshalb geht es da ja auch hin.
Die Fritten waren wirklich gut, die Fackerel erstaunlich lecker und die deep fried Oreos... keine weiteren Kommentare, heute gibt's wieder was Gesünderes.

It was such a nice surprise to find a place that offers a delicious vegan fish & chips in a happy chaotic pub. The owner is happy and bubbly and friendly. Highly recommended. While waiting there is enough to see or play a game.

Happy Fish seems a great new idea, and will be giving them another chance. Food took a while to come and portions were much smaller than expected. Ordered a jumbo sausage supper but it was just two Lindas in batter, nothing special and very dry. Mozzarella sticks were fine, tofish was good. Will go back to try more things. Just wish it wasn't in such a dark and dirty bar!
