Amazing! - Edit
Loved this place. The menu changes every day (on the chalk board) and they have a weekend brunch menu (they are open on Sunday's). It's all Mexican themed food. The portions are huge and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is vegan, except you can get eggs or cheese, if you want. Everything comes with soup and coffee too! It's a ton of food with reasonable prices.

Love Tumerico - Edit
Loved Tumerico! Laid back atmosphere with amazing food. Although you can augment the vegan fare with dairy or eggs, why would you? The veggie risotto I had was amazing, and my partner's tamale's must have been as well as he did not offer to share his second one with me! I did taste the mole tamale and it was great. We were served with a light but veggie filled soup to start - gratis - which was a wonderful way to settle in to this lively and convivial atmosphere. Our "guide" (the man at the register) was clearly enthusiastic about the menu and philosophy. He was very helpful in explaining our choices, and reassuring us that we were eating no animal products. We had hoped to come to brunch the next day as well, but that did not work out unfortunately as I am sure it would have been great. We wish they were in our town, Santa Fe, too!! Thanks guys!

Delicious and Outstanding Hospitality - Edit
We head to Tucson for a few weeks each winter and just discovered Tumerico. We were greeted by a staffer as soon as we walked in who explained their blackboard menu because it changes daily. They make everything from scratch and it is so fresh and delicious. I had the seeet potato pancakes with prickly pear syrup, papaya, rice and beans and tofu scramble. My fella had Crispy sweet potato tacos with rice and beans, salad and salsa. Absolutely delicious and inventive. We will definitely be back. This place is adorable and has an awesome community vibe too!

Great taste and great service. - Edit
Husband and I went here before hiking. The staff was very helpful: one guy was out among guests explaining menu options to them, and the people seating guests were very attentive.

I got a dish that had jackfruit which I've never had before and it was very delicious. We got it to-go because portions are large so we didn't want to be over-stuffed when we went hiking. To-go packaging is paper/enviromentally-freindly so that' great too. :)
They had a lot of customers on the Saturday afternoon we went so they opened a second area so there were still plenty of seats. Would definitely visit again.
Pros: Delicious menu, Large portions & everyone gets soup before meals., Very friendly and attentive staff.

Vegan desert oasis - Edit
I come to Tucson every year and am always on the hunt for new vegan spots. This will be one of my regular stops from now on. There is a small menu centered on tacos and tamales. I came with my mostly- veg boyfriend and my omnivorous parents (my dad is not an adventuresome eater). When we sat down they brought us free soup (butternut squash). Everyone loved their meals. We all got taco plates- guacamole tacos, basil pesto tacos and chicharon tacos. The tortillas were especially phenomenal as was their cashew crema. The serving sizes were too much for us but we all ate most of it anyway.

best food we’ve had in Tucson - Edit
My partner and I are from Portland and visited Tucson for a wedding. This is the only really good food we’ve had here that we feel is on par with Portland vegan food. It was so flavorful with unique flavors. I had the nachos and my partner had the carne asada plate. Little pricey but worth it

Fresh Latin food - Edit
Small, order at the counter restaurant with a limited, delicious menu. My eggplant tacos were great, and the portions were generous. My companions had the spinach salad and really liked it. I didn't care for the tumeric lemonade as it seemed to be all tumeric and no lemon.

Excellent fresh food - Edit
I tried their mobile cart a couple of times before going to their recently opened brick and mortar location. I have always ordered the tamales which come on a platter with vegetables and beans. The tamales filling and vegetables rotate depending on seasonal availability. This is my favorite spot in Tucson.
