GO HERE - Edit
This restaurant is exactly what you pray it is - amazing French vegan food. Honestly, it was so hard to pick what to get. The waiter suggested Escargot and Coq Au Vin. Of course, he said he could only one favorite. It has been so long since I had proper French food. I could have cried. Come here!! 🥹❤️

Cozy, delicious food - Edit
I was there with my friends.
Read moreThe food and the outdoor seating was wonderful.
The service was not too friendly and they brought me the wrong dish. When I mentioned it they didn’t believe me. I didn’t want the dish that I had go to waste anyway so I just eat it.
Pros: Delicious food, Glutenfree options
Cons: Staff not so friendly

Good French cuisine in a lovely place - Edit
The restaurant is cosy, and the food is good. We all had the galettes (around 16$ each) which were good, although some of them rely heavily on plant-based cheese (maybe a bit too much for my taste). The "mousse" was good, but it wasn't a mousse texture-wise though. Staff was very nice also.

Tried their savory crepe “The Petrossian” - nothing special so probably won’t came back. Their coffee was good though.

Vegan French food! - Edit
I was so excited to find a place that serves vegan French food! I haven’t been able to eat this type of food in years. Even my meat eating friend loved it! Super good food and quick service. Highly recommend the coq au vin and the pear and chocolate crepe.

Fantastic, Could Be Even Better - Edit
OK, so the location is wonderful. The ambience is… well, it’s up to French bistro standards (great for a good friend or special date)! The wait staff is charming. The menu is large without being intimidating, and has all of your French favourites. The food was for the most part delicious- I did the foie gras (I know), coq au vin and crème brûlée.
Read moreSo what do I mean by “could be even better”? Two things: (1) while I appreciate a tightly curated selection of vegan wines, I suggest the restaurant leans in (as the champion of vegan French cuisine) with a more extensive selection, and (2) the low point of the meal was the fake chicken. In fact the coq au vin was beautifully done- the sauce was lovely, the veggies prepared just right. However, for this former omnivore, the chick’n was not of the right consistency. And that may be fine when the chick’n is tucked away in a burrito, but not when it’s meant to be the star of the show. Let’s face it, chicken’s tough… pun intended. I would either play around with other chick’n formulations or even third party products that perhaps are not whole drumsticks but at least give you the right texture. Alternatively, just do the sauce with vegetables! It was delicious enough for that.
But enough complaining. Only one meal in and I love this place, and highly recommend it.

Cute vegan French bistro - Edit
I was told about this place by a non-vegan friend. French bistro menu. Lots of options, nice size portions. I had the cassoulet and the pear and chocolate crepe. We also had two appetizers, the Brie and the tapenade. My daughter had the Poulet Basquaise and she had to take some home. I can't wait to go there on a chilly day and have the cassoulet again.

Best vegan restaurant meal I’ve ever had! - Edit
Extremely quaint French restaurant with a diverse and creative menu. As a pescatarian with strong cheese opinions, the macadamia nut Brie was far and away the best vegan cheese I’ve ever had. The cassoulet and aiguillette dishes were both delicious and the portions were large. We will be back every time we’re in Manhattan!

Delicious Crepes - Edit
Traditional French entrees, plus sweet and savory crepes (regular or gluten-free). Soy-free and gluten-free items marked. Cute decor. Imagine crepes with strawberries, melted dark chocolate, and coconut cream. Or picture salted caramel, roasted apples, and vegan vanilla ice cream. A vegan (cashew) cheese plate. Here, they're all real. Don't forget the orange creme brulee. The photos on their website show you how beautifully presented the food is.

Fantastic meal - Edit
What an adorable spot in a cozy European style restaurant. We ordered the cheese plate appetizer which came highly recommended from a friend and met expectations. My partner (who is not vegan) was blown away by the gourmet cashew cheese. She also ordered the seafood dish which she enjoyed and I had the beef Bourguignon which I thought was delicious. It was heartier than I expected and they did a great job with the vegan beef. It was with some delicious veggies in a rich red wine sauce that I felt was a little on the salty side—it would have been nice to cut it with a salad or sharing another dish. Still I would recommend it.
Read moreThe menu was…unusual. It described a lot of the dishes based on what plant based protein was involved. Even as a vegan I found it unappetizing to decide which “pea protein beef” or “x protein chicken” I wanted to eat. That being said, so many of the appetizers looked magnificent that it was hard to choose just one, and both of our entrees turned out really well.

My most favorite! - Edit
Delice & Sarrasin is a MUST when visiting NYC. I lived in the city years ago, wayyy before going vegan, and eating French food was my favorite. I was so ecstatic when I discovered this place and I really can’t get enough. I’ve experienced both the brunch and dinner menus, and it is magnificent every time…not to mention the space is adorable, and who doesn’t love the village.

Excellent food, rude waiter - Edit
I've been vegan for so long, I never knew French food was so good!! I'm allergic to soy and gluten and was particularly impressed that so many dishes were made without it. Many or most of the faux meats are made with pea protein, not soy or gluten. I got the brie, escargots and coq au vin. All were very good, and the flavor of the brie stood out most of all.
Read moreThe only drawback was the rude waiter who treated my arrival into the empty restaurant Sunday morning as an imposition as they opened. I ordered GF items, so I didn't see a need to specify that I was GF. He brought bread to the table and I asked if it was GF. He said no, that I hadn't told him I was GF, and that now he'd "have to throw it away."
Pros: excellent food, pleasant atmosphere
Cons: Rude service

Best Vegan Food Period - Edit
The food was incredible. I’ve eaten vegan all over the world, including some Michelin starred restaurants interpretation of vegan food. And this was hands down the best vegan I’ve ever had. The cheeses are outstanding (the cheese plate is a must), and the proteins are top quality. We had the Coq au Vin and the Beef, Brussel sprouts, cheese plate and the crème brûlée. Highly recommend.

Good, not great - Edit
I had been really looking forward to trying this place and maybe it was what we ordered but it wasn’t my favorite. We had 2 of the crepes. Enjoyed my chikn but my husband got the salmon and We’ve had better. The onion soup was good. The fries were drenched in a truffle oil. I love truffle but this tasted artificial. My oat milk latte was grainy and bitter. When I asked for sugar he brought Splenda. Made it undrinkable
